The Payroll Specialist within our Financial Shared Services team is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of ResMed employees' salaries and wages. This position works directly with external payroll providers and internal teams to ensure seamless payroll operations while adhering to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

- Payroll Processing: Accurately and efficiently process payroll for all ResMed employees, ensuring timely disbursement of salaries and wages.
- Collaboration: Work with external payroll service providers to facilitate smooth end-to-end payroll processing.
- Compliance: Ensure payroll activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on payroll-related legislation.
- Query Management: Respond promptly and professionally to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
- Reporting: Prepare and provide payroll reports as requested, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Specialist Expertise: Apply specialized payroll knowledge to effectively manage and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
- Early Career (Entry Level): Focus on executing routine payroll tasks and building expertise.
- Mid-Career: Manage more complex payroll activities and contribute to projects related to payroll operations.
- Experienced Specialist: Handle advanced payroll processing tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all payroll activities.
Required:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of payroll systems, processes, and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to accuracy and detail, with the ability to manage complex payroll tasks.
- Communication: Strong communication skills for handling payroll inquiries and interacting with both internal teams and external service providers.
- Problem Solving: Ability to resolve payroll-related issues independently using company policies and procedures.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers, specifically ADP is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a shared services or large-scale organization is beneficial but not required.
