Position Summary :
The Peer Support Supervisor / Qualified Professional will oversee the delivery and quality of mental health services provided by Peer Support Specialists and Paraprofessionals, ensuring compliance with service definitions. This role is responsible for providing leadership, administrative supervision, and clinical support to staff. You will also work closely with clients to ensure they receive the necessary resources and support to promote their well-being and recovery. Occasional travel to meet with clients is required, so reliable transportation is a must. Please note that Fridays are reserved as a mental health day, and our office is closed on that day.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and monitor the performance and service delivery of Peer Support Specialists and Paraprofessionals.
- Provide monthly supervision and document progress according to the established supervision plan.
- Develop and update Person-Centered Plans (PCP) in collaboration with individuals served and their natural supports.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, service definitions, and state regulations.
- Facilitate team meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development.
- Monitor service notes for accuracy and adherence to medical necessity.
- Serve as a quality control representative to maintain high standards of care and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to address barriers and enhance service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Actively participate in scheduled utilization reviews, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
- Complete all required documentation and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Submit payroll requests and monitor staff attendance.
- Assist clients with linkage to community resources, support groups, and other services.
- Provide input and leadership for program improvement initiatives.
