What you’ll do: As a Depot Coordinator at the branch, you will manage daily operations under the supervision of the Branch Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain inventory and status of assets, inspect and clean received units, and coordinate repairs to reduce turnaround time.
- Track inventory of trailers ensuring compliance with DOT standards, manage repairs, and vendor relationships to enhance availability.
- Keep the yard clean and organized, manage equipment maintenance, and enforce safety standards.
- Receive and test incoming accessories, organize storage, and maintain inventory using INFOR.
- Utilize Texada Workflow for shipments, resolve discrepancies in Bills of Lading, and prepare units for shipping.
We’re looking for the following skills/experience:
- Experience levels ranging from 0-5 years are welcome.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a 2-year HVAC certificate or Universal Refrigeration Certificate is preferred for higher-level technicians.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; familiarity with MRP or rental software is an advantage.
- Must pass a DOT physical and drug test to operate company vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check prior to employment
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. using safe lifting practices.
- Strong customer service aptitude, effective communication skills, and mechanical knowledge.
- A willingness to learn and develop within the company.
