What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure all job postings are accurate and up to date.
- Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Build relationships with local schools, universities, and community organizations to attract candidates.
- Review and screen incoming resumes and applications to determine candidate qualifications and fit for the position.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate interest and availability.
- Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring that all parties are informed of the interview details.
- Prepare interview materials and candidate profiles for interviewers.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Handle candidate inquiries and assist with any questions related to the recruitment process.
- Ensure a smooth transition for new employees from recruitment to onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Generate reports on recruitment metrics and contribute to the analysis of recruitment strategies.
- Work closely with HR team members and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Assist in the development of recruitment marketing materials and employer branding initiatives.
- Stay updated on recruitment best practices and industry trends to contribute to process improvements.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and ensure adherence to EEO regulations throughout the hiring process.
- Participate in recruitment projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree is required, bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in recruitment is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to develop effective sourcing strategies for various positions.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in database management and record-keeping.
- Basic understanding of employment laws and best practices related to hiring and recruitment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking software is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- The position involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
