Education:
Candidates with technical diplomas in chemistry, electronics, or engineering are encouraged to apply. Will consider candidates without college degrees as well. A Salary will be based on level of education and years of experience.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, passport, and personal car. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills; must have exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities. A strong mechanical aptitude, effective computer skills, and a demonstrated ability to work independently are a must in this position. Experience with method development and/or working knowledge of GC, GCMS, HPLC, LCMS, or IC would be advantageous. Organization and attention to detail is a necessity. The successful candidate should have an outgoing personality, be very self-motivated, and feel comfortable in an environment where the fine details are critical.
Duties:
1. Ability to work independently; meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
2. Repair a variety of lab, automation, and analytical equipment.
3. Responsibility to organize parts and oversee warehouse.
4. Ability to learn and be adaptable. Preference to promote this position in the near future. On the job training with career path leading to Field Service.
5. Daily meeting with the Service Coordinator or Manager to determine the priorities for shipments, repairs, projects, and warehouse activities.
6. Testing and certification of laboratory instrumentation at the home office (bench repair facility).
7. Repair, reconditioning, testing of instruments at the customer site or at the bench repair facility.
8. Following established repair documentation for repairs and certified pre-owned equipment.
9. Follow, update, and create processes and repair manuals.
10. Ship and receive items in the warehouse when required.
11. Ability to lift up to 55lbs occasionally and up to 30lbs on a consistent basis.
12. Ensuring consumables and supplies for the field work (or bench repair program) are maintained.
13. Manage repair facility tasks, ensuring projects are completed on-time, records are maintained, documentation completed and filed.
14. Ability to travel overnight 60% of the time. This position could require overnight travel for 8 nights in a given month. Traveling locally, up to 6 hours, and returning home the same day is also possible. In addition, 1-2 week training classes out of state (or out of country) may be required on an annual basis.
Compensation:
Compensation is based upon experience and qualifications. Resolution Labs has a competitive performance-based compensation package. Resolution Labs supplies the necessary tools to carry out this job in a safe and productive manner. This position is considered a entry/midlevel position, with 0-4 years’ work experience preferred.
Location:
The position is based out of the main office near Fort Wayne, IN.
