Position Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Lead the global financial reporting function, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for multiple international entities.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to streamline reporting processes and enhance efficiency.
- Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior leadership regarding financial performance.
- Develop and execute global tax strategies that optimize the company’s tax position while ensuring compliance with international tax laws and regulations
- Manage and coordinate international tax compliance, including transfer pricing, VAT, GST, and other indirect taxes.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors to stay current with tax law changes and implement effective tax planning strategies.
- Oversee tax provision and reporting processes, including tax reserves and deferred tax assets / liabilities.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance with SOX and other regulatory standards.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring timely adoption and compliance.
- Leverage Oracle NetSuite software to streamline financial processes, reporting, and analysis.
- Utilize recent implementation experience to optimize the software’s capabilities for the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure the efficient operation and integration of NetSuite across the global organization.
- Provide strong leadership to the financial reporting, tax, and compliance teams across various global locations.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Build cross-functional relationships with other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA and/or MBA required with CPA highly preferred.
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in financial consolidation, international tax, and audit, with a strong track record of leadership.
- Recent hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite software, with implementation experience being a significant advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, international tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
