Nurse Practitioner Job Description

Resonance Mental Health is seeking to expand into the medical field to address medical conditions that heavily overlap into the psychiatric realm. The owner of RMH has a special interest in EDS, POTS, MCAS, and Gastroparesis as she experiences these complications herself and is aware of the lack of care for them in the state of NH. This is a position that is heavily in the development stage and could be as simple as a provider being added to the team or a new business name that addresses only these conditions. We would love for someone who has knowledge on all of them and more of a holistic approach, but we are open to all candidates at this time.

Other possibilities that could be discussed: insomnia treatment, weight gain related to psychiatric medications

This position would be productivity based for pay, utilizing insurance and cash pay, and a W2 position with flexible hours.

Resonance Mental Health was founded following the sudden passing of multiple of her family members in quick succession including her father. Compounded grief combined with personal philosophies on the broken healthcare system created the foundation of this practice and furthered her passion for helping others experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression. Without Bri’s life experiences, Resonance Mental Health would not exist today. How she practices is heavily based on her clinical knowledge combined with life experiences. Our small practice thrives on creating an environment that you want to work in. We do not push long hours, many intakes, or circumstances that lead to burnout. There are multiple ways in which this position can be customized to your needs. We also offer ketamine when the patient has a therapist to partner with for sessions, marijuana, and supplements.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings and be skilled in providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients across a range of conditions, with a focus on holistic health and wellness. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide specialized care in areas such as hospice palliative medicine, pediatrics, and home care.
• Perform procedures including catheter care, spinal taps, and laboratory tests.
• Develop individualized care plans that address the unique needs of patients, particularly those with disabilities.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner certification from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred; familiarity with hospice palliative medicine is a plus.
• Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of various treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and provide compassionate care tailored to their needs.
• Knowledge of pediatric care practices is desirable.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and the ability to perform diagnostic tests as needed.
