CONTROLLER
Resonant Sciences LLC has an opening for a Controller to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to join an elite team and enhance the performance and profitability of an organization whose primary mission is to support our nation's War Fighters. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design, develop, and produce state-of-the-art technologies.
We are seeking a high qualified leader who is excited to support our leadership team and contribute to growth, while gaining critical operational business management experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, train, and oversee members of the accounting team, to streamline and improve functional processes.
- Develop/implement new and/or revise existing monthly accounting close processes to ensure timely close; supporting the business need for financial forecast accuracy.
- Institute a monthly accounting/finance reporting cadence with timely reporting and updates to R/S Leadership team, BoD, and Creditors.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines. Develop roadmap for increased CAS/FAR/DFARS requirements’ compliance.
- Review and assess financial health of the company and act as needed with direction from the CFO.
- Lead internal and external audits, including being the R/S interface to DCMA/DCAA.
- Perform other duties, as assigned by CFO, in support of evolving business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field.
- Seven or more years of experience as a senior-level account or finance manager.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
- CPA certification required.
CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
