What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Support Chef position at Resort Lifestyle Communities?
Resort Lifestyle Communities is accepting applications for a Field Support Chef to cover Central and Eastern United States. As a Field Support Chef, you will support 10 Independent Living Retirement Communities across several states ensuring the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of the Culinary and Dining Services operations within RLC kitchens. The Field Support Chef works collaboratively with the Community Management Team, Executive Chefs, and Director of Field Operations to create a resort-like experience for our Residents and their Guests.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Live by our Core Values of Respect, Kindness & Compassion, Honesty, and Service Excellence.
- Travel extensively while performing on-site Community observations and quarterly Total Quality Audits.
- Support the Culinary and Dining operations within an assigned group of RLC Communities.
- Proactively connect with Residents and their Guests to gather feedback and assess the Community Team’s presence and influence.
- Assist in the Hiring and Training of the Executive Chef, Dining Room Supervisor and Sous Chef teams.
Qualifications:
- Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the Central and Eastern United States.
- Previous leadership experience in culinary preparation and cooking with increasing responsibility.
- Demonstrated success in a multi-unit Senior Living Community, preferred.
- A Culinary Arts or Business Degree, preferred.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with residents, Community leadership, and peers.
