Specific Responsibilities Includes :
- Process Owner to drive process improvements, improved quality, and lower cost of manufacture
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams to define continuous improvement strategies for manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements or to enhance product quality or manufacturing productivity including but not limited to Applications Engineering and Quality Engineering departments
- Assist in the creation or modification of employee training
- Assist in defining safety standards and productivity standards for new or existing manufacturing processes
- Process capability to analyze ‘Best Practice’ and implement at all levels
- IATF 16494 understanding preferred.
- Machine design, continuous improvement and / or re-design
- Assist in establishing quality standard and procedures for new and existing manufacturing processes
- Process Controls
- Automation
- Designs of experiments.
- Engineering design
- Design FMEA & control plans
- Machine uptime
- Product Development.
- Process Development
- Process Capability
- Process Efficiency
- Process Productivity
- Design for Manufacturing
- Process Market Acceptance.
- Engineering support of delivery to Market.
- Create, coordinate, and supervise DVP&R and Process testing, data analysis, and presentation.
- Partner with machine builders to build parts, tooling, and fixtures
- Assist in the creation or modification of employee training
- Participate in LEAN manufacturing activities
- Follow all established processes and quality and safety standard
