Morning Kickoff
- Start your day by reviewing detailed work specifications and plans for the day's tasks.
- Conduct safety checks on all tools and equipment, ensuring proper functionality and readiness.
- Operate a variety of tools, including power tools like drills and circular saws, as well as landscape equipment like chainsaws and weed eaters, to perform critical tasks on-site.
- Work hands-on to implement erosion and sediment control measures, following detailed specifications to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining traffic control systems to ensure safety around the work area.
- Analyze the site and adapt to changing conditions, making quick decisions to address any challenges that arise during the day.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Expand your understanding of erosion control methods and traffic control protocols, applying this knowledge to improve your work each day.
- Clean and store tools and equipment, ensuring everything is ready for the next day.
- Review completed tasks with your supervisor to confirm everything meets the required standards and specifications.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Capable of walking over uneven surfaces, climbing on construction equipment, and navigating hills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing tasks at ground level.
