What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager Construction Aggregates position at Resource Erectors?
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Drive a culture that focuses on mentorship, collaboration, coaching, training, and team building. Motivate team members to work ethically and be positive contributors to the team, customers, and our community.
- Continue the development of the sales team ensuring that the needed bench strength is in place to support continued growth.
- Take a leadership role in proactively managing the health & safety of our employees as we continuously work to a goal of zero accidents.
- Maintain effective sales and market information including macro and micro economic data, market demand by product group, competitor analysis, inquiry / bid tracking, and jobs won / lost by supplier including pricing, moving annual trends for inquiries / bids / volume won / sales output.
- Hold weekly sales meetings with the sales team and contribute effective sales demand information to the Management team.
- Maintain the Companys market position and maximize both volumes and selling prices.
- Utilize market segmentation methodology, including customer and product mix management, to maximize selling prices, gross margins, and profitability.
- Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained including resolution of customer complaints and / or back-charges.
- Maintain effective relationships with all actual and potential customers. Maintaining personal contact with major customers with the goal of developing mutually beneficial trading relationships.
- Participate in the budgeting and strategic planning process, monthly reprojections and monthly activity reports as they relate to the sales and marketing function.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with local, State and Federal agencies / representatives, architects and engineers who can impact our business.
- Promoting and maintaining a positive image of the Company and its products and services.
- Provide market analysis to support capital expenditure requests and other projects.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with management peer group and other work colleagues.
