We are currently recruiting a Quality Engineer to join our Franklin, TN team! The Quality Engineer will oversee aspects of the quality management system.
This position will be on-site and reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- General coordination of ISO 9001-2015 activities
- Quality software administrator including training to key stake holders
- Compliance/regulatory administrator including customer portals
- Lead activities associated with the supplier quality program
- Tracking, trending and communication to management of the key quality objectives
- Support the identification of process improvement opportunities regarding quality
- Support the Corrective Action Program by participating in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities
- Lead the Verification Audit Program (independent audit of previous corrective actions/improvement programs)
- Lead the Document Control Program
- Assisting with the development of processes and procedures and overall control of documentation
- Lead for the Gage Calibration Program
- Other activities as assigned to support the RLG Franklin quality program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline preferred
- Background working with quality systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- 10% or less travel may be required (vendors/customers/other RLG sites)
