RMC is hiring a Classification Manager to support our customer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Indian Head Division in Stump Neck, MD. This position will assist with various information and physical security activities as part of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Department.
The selected applicant must have comprehensive knowledge of DoD, Navy, and Command information security principles, policies, and practices, and must be able to independently review, analyze, and resolve complex information security problems. This position will be responsible for completing the following tasks:
- Performing security reviews on all types of various EOD-related products and technical information produced by the EOD Information Management Division. Examples include technical manuals, technical publications, PowerPoint presentations, technical documentation, munitions data reports, photographs, illustrations, drawings, function data, safety summaries, EOD procedures, and logistical data.
- Following security classification guides when checking reference entries appearing in Publication bibliographies to ensure proper selection of classification and dissemination control markings.
- Authoring, maintaining, and updating standard operating procedures.
- Performing security reviews on every Publication title page for proper titling, proper classification, and proper classified by information (if applicable).
- Staying current on changes occurring within DoD and at the Command on all matters related to information security.
- Providing consultation and security advice and guidance on matters related to information and physical security.
- Monitoring daily physical security operations including doors, locks, card readers, motion sensors, and security lights, and periodically conducting a walk-around inspection.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, plus at least four (4) years of recent experience performing information security reviews and applying DoD 5200.01.
- Must be proficient with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. The applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $90,000 to $120,000 (annually).
