RMC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in cloud infrastructure design and implementation to support various business initiatives and workloads in a compliant and secure environment.
- Experience in cloud engineering or related technical roles, specifically within Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with cloud-native application design, deployment, and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proficiency in automation scripts using Python, Terraform, or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices, including compliance requirements for government environments (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure performance and reliability of cloud workloads.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude to identify and address potential issues in cloud infrastructure.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
Security Clearance:
- An active DoD Secret clearance or higher is required.
- The selected applicant must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000.
