Overview
Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment. Perform installation, tests, maintenance/repair of various types of relays and electronic equipment/electrical instruments to transmission and distribution systems.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and low voltage systems
- Radio Background a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of computer networking is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Education
Associate degree in Electrical, Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering Technology.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electric meters in residential and commercial settings.
- Utilize hand and power tools to perform equipment repairs and installations.
- Conduct utility locating and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.
- Interpret schematics and computer networking systems related to electrical setups.
- Operate bucket trucks and voltmeters for safe and efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of field service tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
