**Safety/Operations Supervisor**
**Job Overview:**
Resource Management Group is seeking a dedicated Safety/Operations Supervisor to join our team. The Safety/Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations at the construction site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance management, construction site safety, and risk management. The ideal candidate will direct and lead the work of the commissioning workers and support the daily operations as a working supervisor/lead.
**Safety Responsibilities:**
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on the construction site
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as EHS, NEC, and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with project managers to address safety concerns and develop solutions
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements
**Operations Supervisor Responsibilities:**
- Train and learn all jobs, policies and procedures on the construction site
- Train new employees regarding safety and job procedures
- Work along side the Automation Specialists as needed
- Provide guidance, direction and work assignments to our employees
- Partner with the engineers to accomplish the work on site
- Communicate with employees regarding job performance, request for time off, attendance, etc.
- Communicate with the office internal HR Recruiters regarding new-hires, performance issues, terminations, and job openings
- Inspect work progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Supervise and coordinate the employee work activities to maintain project efficiency
- Oversee department operations and workforce management
**Requirements:**
- High School Diploma required
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field a plus
- Must have mechanical or electrical experience
- Must be OSHA 30 certified
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate teams on-site
- Ability to communicate with translator when needed
- Proven experience in operations, manufacturing or construction supervision
- Proven experience in construction site safety and compliance management
- Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety metrics
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) regulations
- Strong understanding of risk management principles in a construction environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Experience with using micro-soft products
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
