What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator position at Resource Transport, LLC?
Resource Transport, LLC is growing and seeking experienced Dispatcher - Logistics Coordinator skilled in customer service to execute the coordination and timely delivery of frac sand to the well sites.
Dispatcher - Logistics Coordinator will:
- Dispatch trip plans and verify location status
- Communicate frequently with drivers and sand coordinators to:
- Coordinate the utilization of drivers and mobilization and demobilization of sand equipment for maximum efficiency
- Ensure safe and efficient sand delivery operation
- Ensure sand deliveries are on time and in compliance with government regulations, company policies/procedures and customer expectations
- Reroute and divert trucks accordingly to prevent and/or reduce demurrage
- Manage high call volume and email communications throughout shift
- Collect data throughout shift to ensure accurate documentation and reporting
- Partner with third party carriers as needed to meet customer demands
- Able to handle confidential information
Dispatcher - Logistics Coordinator requirements:
- Three (3) years of dispatch, logistics coordinating and customer service experience
- Oil and gas experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office - particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills with ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be a self-starter who works well with personnel, management, public and customers
- Ability to prioritize, problem solve and efficiently manage a high volume of tasks
- Ability to prepare reports and exercise discretion when dealing with confidential information
- Must pass pre-employment screening
