Position Overview:
ReSOURCE’s Ready, Set, Work! program provides Work-Based Learning (WBL) for middle and high school enrolled students in our Williston store, and our Burlington Innovation Café. The Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating program details to set students and staff up for success. Along with the Training Manager Trainer(s), and relevant P2P Partners, the Coordinator will ensure curriculum and learning activities meet Pre-ETS 5 Required Activities. The Coordinator will supervise ReSOURCE’s AmeriCorps team, and will serve as a liaison between schools, career counselors, and LEAs that are participating, or looking to participate, in Ready, Set Work!.
Position Responsibilities
· Serve as Supervisor of ReSOURCE’S Everybody Works AmeriCorps Program
· Provide feedback, oversight, and support to AmeriCorps members, particularly as concerns professional development, allowable and prohibited activities, and timecards
· Collaborate with Program Manager and to ensure WBL tasks and activities align with and fulfill pre-ETS 5 Required Activities, in particular, work-based learning experiences, workplace readiness training and self-advocacy.
· Coordinate with Program Manager and grant partners to ensure student trainees are assisted and supported in job exploration counseling, and opportunities in comprehensive transition or post-secondary educational programs at institutions of higher education.
· Build and maintain relationships with schools, career counselors, and LEAs.
· Assist in the creation and provision of curriculum focused on 21st century skills, merchandising display logic, and food service and safety
· Support daily learning activities by assisting with classroom instruction and job site work.
· Supervise students at work, emphasizing safety and efficiency as best practices
· Serve as an employee role model for staff and student trainees.
· Track and Report status of school and student recruitment, progress and program completion

Minimum Qualification
· Demonstrated leadership experience.
· Experience working with youth in and out of classroom setting.
· Experience or interest in learning retail, merchandising and food safety skills.
· Commitment to ReSOURCE mission
· Positive, cooperative team spirit.
· Competent use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.04 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
