We're seeking a Director of Sales for our client, a successful multi-generational business, to lead and expand their wholesale channel-someone who thrives on relationship management, understands consultative sales, and can drive both strategic growth and team performance.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000 commission
What You'll Do :
- Oversee and grow thousands of existing reseller accounts while identifying hundreds more across different verticals.
- Develop deep relationships with customers, ensuring you're aligned with their plans and future needs.
- Manage the team responsible for account management, while also personally handling key relationships.
- Fly out to meet customers-not as an outside salesperson, but as a relationship builder ensuring strong, long-term partnerships.
- Understand the wholesale sales process, selling to resellers, big-box retailers, or key industry verticals.
- Balance consultative selling with guiding the team on transactional sales strategies.
- Wholesale sales experience, specifically selling to resellers.
- Background in managing a high volume of accounts and driving new business in targeted verticals.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a sales team while also managing key accounts directly.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and align sales efforts accordingly.
- Skilled in both strategic planning and transactional sales management.
- Willingness to travel as needed to maintain and expand customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
