Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled Blanchard / Surface Grinder to join their team in Fraser MI. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Blanchard, surface or rotary grind machines and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a permanent position with a day shift schedule starting at 5 or 6 AM.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Blanchard/rotary grind machines to grind metal parts to specified dimensions
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Always follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating Blanchard or rotary grind machines
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
