Employbridge is seeking a CNC Machinist for a stable shop to manufacture precision, machined foundry patterns, permanent molds, and tooling for advanced composites. This is an entry level opportunity for a recent machine tool technology grad with knowledge of Mastercam, Solid Works and Fusion software.

- $20-$28 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
- Understand specifications and the desired result by reading blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
- Translate instructions into computer commands.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Set machines to complete full cycles of fabrication, meeting production quotas.
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and adjust to meet quality standards.
- Inspect and measure finished products confirming meets spec.
- Check and maintain machinery.
Requirements
- 0-1 year experience as CNC operator
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of Mastercam, Solid Works, and Fusion.
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Effective communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
Salary : $20 - $28
