What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at ResourceMFG?
1st and 2nd shift Material Handlers needed for a busy Warehouse in Largo, FL.
Hours:
- 1st shift: Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm **(Overtime might come as early as 5am when needed)
**Some Saturdays might be required for a few hours when needed…………………Pay: $15/hr. - 2nd shift: Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12am **(Overtime might come as late as 1am or 2am when needed) Some Saturdays might also be required for a few hours when needed………………………Pay: $16/hr.
Pay: $15-16/hr. depending on shift.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Unloading, receiving, and signing for incoming packages from Fed-Ex, UPS, Fed-Ex ground and DHL
• Logging all packages received and keeping a database up to date for verification purposes.
• Timely delivery of packages to the correct person/department and making sure new stock is delivered to the warehouse and all associated parties are made aware of receipt of such deliveries.
• Assisting the Returns department with re-boxing and reshipping, returns and delivering the returns reship forms after product has shipped.
• Assisting the Returns department with all tasks (including inspections) as required.
• Signing for any freight (except air freight), and verifying pallet and/or total package count if no other managers are available to do so.

SKILLS:
- Good organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Warehouse or Material Handler experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to lift average of 40 pounds repetitively
