What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pallet Builder-United Presort position at ResourceOne?
United Presort is a letter size standard mail commingle company utilizing a one pass workflow. Currently we are seeking Pallet Builders to join our Tulsa Team!
Starting at $12 with a shift Differential of $1.00 for 2nd shift.
1st Shift: Hours: 7am-5:45pm Schedule: Varies based on workload
2nd Shift: Hours: 6:00pm-4:45 am Schedule: Varies based on workload
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for sleeving, strapping, and palletizing postal trays in accordance with postal regulations.
- Responsible for efficient handling of and adequate supply of material to be run on sorting machines.
- Responsible for recording and reporting on production data.
- Responsible for efficient handling of finished postal pallets.
- Once core duties are complete assists coworkers in other areas to assure the success of the entire operation.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Basic communication and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure of time constraints.
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and occasionally more than 50lbs.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods throughout each shift. Along with frequent bending, twisting and pulling.
- Must have a Flexible work schedule
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- 1-3 years working in a production/manufacturing environment preferred but not required
