What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheme Builder-United Presort position at ResourceOne?
United Pre-Sort and Sister company of Resource One is currently seeking Scheme Builders.
1st Shift: Days may vary Friday Hours: 7am-5:45pm
2nd Shift: Days may vary Hours: 6:00pm-4:45 am
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for separating mail by zip code and grouping together by sort scheme.
- Responsible for palletizing separated trays of mail by sort scheme.
- Responsible for efficient handling of and adequate supply of material to be run on sorting machines.
- Responsible for recording and reporting on production data.
- Responsible for efficient handling of finished postal pallets.
- Once core duties are complete assists coworkers in other areas to assure the success of the entire operation.
Knowledge and Abilities
- Basic communication and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure of time constraints.
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and occasionally more than 50lbs.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods throughout each shift. Along with frequent bending, twisting and pulling.
- Flexible with scheduled work hours.
