Requirements:
- 8 or more years of experience as Data Governance Manager.
- Proficiency in enterprise data analytics, integration, and management, with focus on data governance tools.
- Experience in working with data warehouse technologies.
- Experience with Informatica Data Governance tools (Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog, Data Quality).
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience with Jira for task management.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of data governance tools for the DSHS agency.
- Analyze business systems and processes to develop operational metadata management strategies.
- Assist with the collection and identification of data assets from various sources.
- Support metadata management by filling templates and overseeing implementation.
- Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, IT teams, and program stakeholders.
- Summarize information for leadership and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct meetings, including design sessions and metadata modeling conversations.
