Seeking Part-Time Therapist for First Responders and Agencies – Henderson County and SUD
Responder Support Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Therapist to join our team in Henderson County and the SUD Program, providing support to first responders and other key agencies in the community. This is a part-time salaried position with a competitive compensation package and numerous paid holidays.

Responsibilities:
Provide therapy and counseling services to first responders (police, fire, EMS) and other agency personnel
Utilize evidence-based practices to support clients' mental health and well-being
Offer individual, group, and crisis intervention support
Maintain accurate and confidential case records
Collaborate with other professionals and agencies as needed to support clients
Starting SUD program
Supervising clinicians
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
Licensed Therapist with Board registration (LCSW, LCMHC,PsyD, LMFT, or equivalent) in North Carolina
Experience working with trauma-informed care is preferred
Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various agencies
Compassion, empathy, and dedication to the well-being of first responders, showing commitment and unwavering support when providing critical counselling services.
Experience with substance use
Experience and credentials to supervise clinicians
