Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Loan Officer to join our team. Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze clients' financial information to determine eligibility for loans.
- Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and submitted.
- Maintain knowledge of regulations and ensure compliance throughout the lending process.
- Collaborate with escrow officers and other financial professionals to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the loan process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, TILA regulations, and FNMA guidelines to provide accurate advice to clients.
- Conduct financial sales presentations to promote various loan products and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Skills
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate calculations related to loans and interest rates.
- Excellent with a proven track record in financial sales environments.
- Knowledge of escrow processes and ability to work collaboratively with escrow teams.
- Familiarity with regulations, TILA, and FNMA guidelines is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical skills to assess financial documents and make informed lending decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
