Overview:
As a Customer Development Representative at Rest Easy Pest Control, you will be at the forefront of our customer engagement and sales efforts. This hybrid role combines inside sales expertise with exceptional customer experience delivery, ensuring our clients receive personalized support and effective pest management solutions. You will manage the customer journey from initial contact to ongoing service, leveraging your ability to build relationships, generate leads, and close sales while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience:
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Schedule appointments for pest inspections, treatments, and follow-up services.
- Provide accurate and detailed information regarding services, pricing, and availability.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and service history.
- Collaborate with field technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Follow up on annual renewals and assist in securing payment methods.
- Assist with overflow sales calls and messages as needed.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Conduct targeted outbound calls to prospective clients, identifying decision-makers and establishing initial contact.
- Utilize industry-specific directories, databases, and networking channels to generate high-quality leads.
- Respond promptly to all incoming inquiries, including phone calls and internet leads.
Customized Solutions Development:
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand and articulate the full range of pest control services.
- Develop tailored proposals based on the unique needs and challenges of each client.
Sales Presentations and Consultations:
- Conduct virtual presentations and consultations to educate potential clients on services, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Articulate the benefits of pest control solutions clearly and persuasively.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Skillfully negotiate contract terms and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Close sales deals efficiently, focusing on profitability and customer satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor for their ongoing pest control needs.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and upsell based on client requirements.
- Re-engage past clients to bring them back on board.
Sales Reporting and Collaboration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including lead generation, client interactions, and deal progress in the pipeline.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to the sales management team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
