Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations to ensure flawless execution of all dishes.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative team spirit.
- Build and strictly adhere to high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Develop and test new recipes to keep our menu fresh, competitive, and innovative.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Successfully implement cost control measures to optimize kitchen efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume, reputable restaurant.
- Outstanding culinary skills with a strong passion for food and hospitality.
- Ability to determine priorities and effectively manage resources in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen equipment, sanitation regulations, and safety protocols.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
