Reports To: Regional Executive Chef
Salary: $115,000-$135,000

Job Summary
To support our growth we’re looking for an Senior Executive Chef. This is an amazing role responsible for the culinary quality, innovation and experience of our operation & the exciting things we have to offer! You’ll have an amazing team who you will motivate, train, develop and direct to deliver delicious & nutritious food! You’ll lead by example and drive your team to deliver exceptional service & new projects.
The role will be based in New York, NY.

Design, manage and own the overall experience & not just the amazing things we offer
You’ll set an expectation of hospitality that is friendly and that truly engages our guests
You will upskill, train and develop your team to the highest standards
Follow all menu and production/preparation expectations and prepare well balanced meals to fuel users through the day
You’ll make sure that all of our products and ingredients are purchased in line with our program’s purchasing standards & sustainability commitments
Be creative and mindful when preparing our event & catering menus
You’ll create a culture of Food and Workplace Safety & ensure that all café operations meet fantastic standards
You will contribute to the successful opening of all new Cafés and make sure that we meet the expected timeframes
What we look for in the perfect candidate:
You’ll have a minimum of 5 years food service management in a professional kitchen or similar professional experience
ServSafe and NYC Department of Health Certification is required
You’ll have a strong passion for all things food & hospitality!
Multiple unit management & high volume experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of current food trends and industry innovations
Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Demonstrate good judgment and decision making skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Basic knowledge of a variety of global cuisine
Work in conjunction with FOH partners to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Creativity and innovation are a must!
Project management skills with previous new business development is preferred
Ability to create and execute new systems, processes and procedures
Financial acumen and proven track record of successful operations in previous roles
General oversight in purchasing as well as maintaining standards of procurement by working closely with our vendors
Ability to develop and mentor a large team with proven track record of success
Excellent communication skills are a must
