Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards and delight our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including food inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Monitor food safety and sanitation practices to comply with health regulations.
• Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
• Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
• Manage shifts effectively, ensuring all stations are adequately staffed and operational.

Skills

• Strong culinary skills with experience in a restaurant environment.
• Ability to manage a team effectively, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
• Knowledge of food management practices, including inventory control and portioning.
• Experience in bartending is a plus, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during busy service periods.
• Familiarity with banquet preparation and large-scale food production is advantageous.
• A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.

Pay: $19.26 - $22.00 per hour
