Position Summary: A fine dining group is seeking a hands-on and results-driven Director of Restaurants to lead and optimize operations across multiple acclaimed venues. The Director will play a key role in driving profitability, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. This position requires a balance of strategic oversight and active on-site engagement, including regular weekend presence to maintain high standards and oversee service quality.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple venues with combined annual revenue exceeding $10M.
- Ensure consistency in service standards, culinary excellence, and operational efficiency.
- Team Development:
- Increase associate retention and engagement through effective onboarding, ongoing training, and mentorship.
- Foster a fair and consistent work environment emphasizing growth and performance.
- Service Excellence:
- Lead front-of-house and back-of-house operations to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Actively address guest feedback and ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Financial Oversight:
- Manage budgets, labor costs, and resource allocation to optimize profitability.
- Oversee financial processes, including cash handling and inventory controls.
- Leadership & Presence:
- Actively engage with venues during weekends to oversee operations and support the team.
- Lead pre-shift and post-shift evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Marketing & Growth Initiatives:
- Collaborate on seasonal marketing strategies to boost customer engagement and revenue.
- Introduce new menu offerings in line with budget and quality standards.
- Performance Metrics:
- Track and report KPIs, including labor productivity, guest satisfaction, and revenue trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in senior management roles within the fine dining or hospitality sectors.
- Strong operational leadership skills with a hands-on management approach.
