Restoration Estimator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Full time position Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• Develop estimates pursuant to Restless Restoration estimating standards, insurance compliance SLA's, including creation of accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch
• Familar with TPA Programs such as Contractor Connection, Alacrity, And Segwick
• Create photo sheets complete with labels
• Enter written scopes of repair into Xactimate format
• Frequent communication with, and updates to, internal and external customers
• Upload, monitor and oversee estimates into Xactanalysis
• Update notes in Xactanalysis as per the Project Manager as they relate to files
• Revise and upload estimates as per the reviewer's and Project Manager's requirements
• Visit and scope losses in conjunction with Project Manager to determine the estimate and sketch of affected areas
• Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
• Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's property and information
• Comply with Restless Restoration policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements
• Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may affect completion of the job to the team
• Experience with and in-depth knowledge of Xactimate and Xactanalysis and Symbility
• IICRC certification in Fire and Smoke and/or Odor Control and/or Water Damage a plus
• Construction / Restoration / Insurance experience preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
• Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Advanced computer experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and Google Suite
• Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends when requested
• Periodic travel may be required
• Must be fluent in English, fluency in Spanish a plus
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
