Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for various treatments.
- Take and develop X-rays in accordance with safety protocols.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of medical histories and treatment plans.
- Utilize Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
- Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
- Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed during procedures.
- Assist with endodontic treatments by preparing materials and instruments required for root canal therapy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is mandatory.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using dental software, particularly Eaglesoft, is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- A commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.
- Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
