Maintenance Technician III

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicles and equipment through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. This role requires a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicle fleet to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical issues as they arise.
• Read and interpret electric schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs on equipment of various types, such as bobcats, forklifts and air compressors.
• Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance operations.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members to enhance equipment maintenance efforts.
• Demonstrate leadership skills by mentoring junior staff and promoting best practices in maintenance.

Skills

• Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques using an ohmmeter, multimeter
• Capability to fabricate components or parts when necessary for repairs.
• Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and collaboration within the maintenance department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
