Water Damage Restoration Technician

ob Overview:
As a Water Damage Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for mitigating and restoring properties affected by water damage. This includes performing a range of tasks to remove excess water, drying affected areas, and restoring structures and belongings to pre-damage conditions. Technicians are expected to use a variety of equipment and follow established procedures to ensure properties are restored effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assessing Water Damage:
• Conduct thorough inspections of water-damaged properties to assess the extent of the damage.
• Identify the source of water intrusion and work with team members to stop or contain further damage.
• Evaluate affected areas and recommend appropriate restoration actions.
• Water Extraction and Drying:
• Operate water extraction equipment such as pumps, vacuums, and drying machines.
• Use dehumidifiers, air movers, and heaters to facilitate drying of structures and materials.
• Monitor moisture levels in affected areas and adjust drying equipment as necessary.
