Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Lebanon, OH for a Vinyl Graphics Team Lead. The Team Lead will be responsible for creative direction, team leadership, project management, branding, and art direction related to vinyl graphics production.
- Design, prepare, and modify graphics using software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.
- Operate and maintain vinyl printers, plotters, laminators, and other finishing equipment.
- Ensure color accuracy, print quality, and material handling meet company standards.
- Oversee installation processes for vehicle wraps, signage, and other vinyl applications.
- Troubleshoot printing, cutting, and application issues efficiently.
- Work directly with our product team to identify and deliver new products to introduce to our customer base of more than 2000 active customers.
- Maintain an organized production schedule, prioritizing deadlines and workload distribution.
- Train and mentor team members, as the department/category grows, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Keep up with industry trends, new materials, and printing technologies to enhance production quality and efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on vinyl graphics and large-format printing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant design software.
• Hands-on experience with vinyl printers, plotters, laminators, and cutting machines.
• Strong understanding of color management, vector graphics, and file preparation for printing.
• Experience with vehicle wraps, signage, wall graphics, and other vinyl applications.
• Ability to lead, train, and mentor a team in a production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of material types, adhesives, and application techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a vinyl graphics production environment.
• Experience with Roland, Mimaki, HP Latex, or similar vinyl printing equipment.
• Knowledge of RIP software (e.g., VersaWorks, ONYX).
• Installation certifications (e.g., 3M, Avery Dennison) are a plus.
