Pain management medical practice seeking for a Practice Manager. We are a rapidly growing medical practice, and in need a manager to help us run the practice in both of our locations in Templeton and Santa Maria, California.

Responsibilities are included below, but additional responsibilities may be added:
- Implement the policies and procedures that keep the medical office running smoothly
- Assist in improving and updating employee handbook, and policies & procedures.
- Continuously improve day to day operation efficiency.
- Staffing and scheduling. Ensuring proper daily staffing and consistent busy clinic scheduling.
- Running Payroll.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in revenue cycle management and overseeing the security protocols and procedures that guard the private information of the business and its patients.
- Continue to find ways to reduce overhead costs.
- Supervise clinic and non-clinical staff.
- May be expected to fill in when the office is short-staffed.
- May also be asked to step in and mediate issues with office personnel
- Defuse a customer service problem or handle a dispute with an insurance company
Skills of the Practice Manager
- Must communicate clearly with patients, office employees, insurance company representatives and medical staff.
- Need to be capable of managing employees with different personalities and backgrounds effectively.
- Conflict resolution and multitasking skills are necessities
- Attention to detail is vital, as is the case with most healthcare careers
- Must have a thorough understanding of the ins and outs of medical administration that enables them to identify and proactively tackle the unique issues healthcare offices face
Qualifications
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience
- Preferably had been involved in managing a pain management practice.
- Should have at least a Bachelor's Degree. Preferably someone who holds a Master Degree. (Including MBA in Healthcare Administration or Healthcare Management)
- Previously worked with Athena EMR is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
