About the Job : In the role of Assistant General Manager (AGM), you play a critical role in the success of the Restore Hyper Wellness studio. Your primary responsibility is to work closely with the General Manager to drive the overall revenue and success of the studio. The Assistant General Manager is effectively a “Jr. General Manager” and is expected to operate as such. While the General Manager is focused on overall success and ensuring the right team is in place, the Assistant General Manager is focused on and responsible for the day-to-day operations of the studio. Ensuring the studio is operating at a high level of excellence across the in-studio team (employees), services, and customer service is your most important ongoing responsibility.
The AGM does this by ensuring the studio has effectively implemented all important processes, checklists, systems, and tools. The AGM ensures that all in-studio marketing and sales activities are functioning at optimal levels and also oversees all aspects of the customer journey : marketing, sales, membership, and retention, and by providing an exceptional in-studio experience for our members, customers, and prospects.
Your role demands the ability to manage a complex business successfully (recovery services, medical services, and skin health services - all under one roof), all while managing and supporting a high-performing and highly educated team that can speak authoritatively to health, wellness, and the Restore services and therapies. Additionally you, along with the General Manager, are the face of the studio and must be comfortable representing Restore inside the studio and outside the studio. Excellent management, communication, and sales skills and sales experience are required.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who thrives in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment and who has a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and independence. We need a person who can think strategically and see the big picture, while also noticing small details inside the studio. You will also be required to think tactically on a daily basis, making adjustments and refining plans based on current challenges and data, to make the right adjustments to ensure continued growth and success of the studio.
Work You’ll Do :
- Achieve and exceed revenue goals within the studio on a monthly basis. With the GM, take responsibility for the studio P&L and studio KPIs.
- Be responsible for effective studio marketing and sales. Including responsibility for the timely and thorough management of inbound leads and first-time visitors (FTVs). Work with your team to achieve a consistent conversion rate of >
30%.
