General Manager Role
We are looking for a high-achieving and results driven General Manager for our Restore Hyper Wellness studio. The General Manager manages the day-to-day running of the studio and is responsible for the studio’s success. He or she is responsible for the in-studio team and for all things related to the success of the studio. They must have a passion for excellence in all things, especially when interacting with clients. The General Manager must have prior experience managing and operating a successful health, wellness, or equivalent membership driven studio.
General Manager Roles & Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed revenue goals within the studio on a monthly and quarterly basis. Own the studio P&L and studio KPIs.
- Responsible for effective studio marketing and sales. Including responsibility for the timely and thorough management of leads and first-time visitors (FTVs).
- Execution of in-studio and out of studio events to drive FTVs, members, and revenue.
- Lead the studio team in service and product knowledge to motivate them to meet/exceed sales goals through community events, partnerships, B2B, and word-of-mouth referrals.
- Fully staff the studio with exceptional Health and Wellness Reps, Nurses, and Estheticians, while staying within payroll budget.
- Onboard, train and offboard employees as needed.
- Accountable for daily studio operations, inclusive of schedule management, studio staffing coverage, facility upkeep, and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Provide an exceptional in-studio experience for our customers. Continually look for ways to improve the customer experience, add more value, and help our customers better achieve their health and wellness goals.
- Ensure studios maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Create long-lasting high-value and unique partnerships with businesses in the community.
General Manager Requirements
- Previous management experience in the health, wellness, fitness, or retail industry strongly preferred.
- Proven success in sales and team mentorship.
- Must possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clients.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage client and staff concerns.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Flexible to work availability to include day, evening, and/or weekend hours as needed.
- Ability and fluency with analyzing data and metrics to improve performance.
- Passion for Restore and health and wellness.
- Comfortable with outside sales and willingness to engage with strangers to promote Restore.
- Strong understanding of KPIs and business drivers to ensure that activities produce tangible outcomes that can be tracked and reported.
