What does a Front Desk Associate and Laser Technician do at Restore Orthopedics and Sports Medicine?
Essential Functions:
- Provide clinical and clerical support to Restore Orthopedics physicians and patients
- Serves as the ambassador to the practice by greeting patients upon arrival, answering the phones.
- Checking patients into the office
- Ensure a smooth and efficient overall day to day operation of the front desk and checkout area including patient phone calls.
- Utilize our electronic medical records system to ensure thorough and correct patient demographics and billing information are on file for every patient.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and standards to make sure patients’ expectations are exceeded.
- Inform the administrator of operational problems
- Knowledge of electronic health records
- Patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing and cash posting.
- Running our Class IV Laser (no license or certification required), for scheduled patients, throughout each day, while maintaining the front desk responsibilities.
- Assist with office duties such as faxing, email, and scanning documentation into the patient’s chart.
- Work with team leaders and physicians to ensure process improvement, consistency and efficiency.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects; expediting work results.

This growing medical practice is seeking an associate with strong customer service experience. The ability to multitask and prioritize is mandatory.
You'll be successful with the following qualifications:
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Sensitivity to patient’s and family members' feelings and reactions.
- Ability to multi-task and switch roles quickly.
- A deep desire to help people
- Attention to detail is very important and must pay attention to the physician and the patients, understand instructions and ask questions when necessary.

Requirements (Skills, Knowledge, and Experience)
- High school Diploma or GED (Required)
- Experience in customer service or healthcare setting (Preferred)
