We are seeking a compassionate and patient-centric Pharmacist to manage and grow our pharmacy presence. Our goal is to empower you in the role that you play when managing your pharmacy, personnel, client relationships/clinic support, and patient population.
The Pharmacy Management Team is looking for a dedicated professional to engage with clinic providers and their clinical staff, provide drug-related education, act as a member of the patient care team, and attend clinical meetings. As the pharmacy manager, you will be responsible for demonstrating the highest standard of patient quality care.
- Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
- Management of staff pharmacist and technicians, if applicable.
- Motivate, inspire, and develop the pharmacy staff by maximizing colleagues' strengths and weaknesses.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations, including patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
- Stay current with HIPAA and fraud waste and abuse credentialing.
- Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university.
- Required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations in the state in which you are practicing.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous management experience in a retail pharmacy setting, 340B knowledge is a bonus but not required.
- 3 years related pharmacy experience.
- Immunization certification is preferred.
