Overview
We are a well-established and professionally managed residential community in the Sylvania area. We're looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain our property to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare vacant units for new tenants (“make-readies”)
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours calls as needed
- Maintain grounds and common areas
- Ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are followed
- Work closely with property management and other maintenance staff
Experience
- 2 years of maintenance experience (residential preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- HVAC certification is a plus but not required
