What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Technician position at RetailNext?
The IT Technician will start their workday by configuring equipment to be shipped out the same day. After all shipments have been processed, he/she will begin testing and validating RMA equipment. When new customers are brought on, he/she will assist in configuring our automated provisioning system for our customer's specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Day to day provisioning of hardware to be shipped out
- Testing of RMA units
- Configuring equipment for internal use
- Maintain automation code
Qualifications
- At least a year of hardware QA or hardware testing/validation
- Familiarity with Linux
- Familiarity with networking
- Understanding of IT
- Scripting with Bash, Shell, or Perl is a plus
- Understanding of IP addresses and firewalls
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
