Retina Associates is a sub-specialty of Ophthalmology treating diseases and surgeries of the retina, vitreous, and macula. Our medical practice is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator. This position fills a key role in continuing to proactively build the Human Resources department to meet the goals, objectives, and priorities of the company. Our HR Coordinator will be active in support, communication, and assistance of all personnel in the administration, clinical, and research departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage talent acquisition including but not limited to candidate search, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Own and execute the onboarding process for all new hires, including scheduling and conducting orientation, collecting new hire paperwork, and entering new hires into HRIS and training systems.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relation issues.
- Assist in development, implementation and consistent enforcement of HR policies company wide.
- Provide assistance with staffing initiatives and departmental needs.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management.
- Design and implement programs to increase employee satisfaction, motivation, and overall engagement, including recognition programs, social events, etc.
- Communicate practice-wide, or as appropriate, with company updates.
- Update and maintain employee personnel files.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
- Experience with employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of human resources related experience.
- Some travel required between locations. Reimbursement provided.
