What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Specialist position at Retina Consultants Of Carolina PA?
The Human Resource (HR) Specialist performs the below duties, in addition to others as assigned by the practice:

Manages full-cycle talent acquisition processes.
- Creates job postings and oversees applicant flow for those positions.
- Conducts phone screenings with qualified applicants.
- Coordinates the scheduling of in-person interviews, when applicable, and often attending them as well.
- Drafts offer letters using iSolved as needed.
- Creates new user accounts for platforms the employee will be using.
- Oversees onboarding process for all new hires from acceptance of offer to first day account setup/orientation.

Supports various benefits administration duties.
- Educates newly eligible employees on various benefit offerings and assists in the enrollment process.
- Assists Practice Administrator in coordinating annual open enrollment period for all employees to re-enroll for coverage for the new year.

Assists managers with employee relations and performance management issues.
- Provides best-practice advice for various supervisors when navigating interpersonal conflict, whether between the employee and supervisor or with another employee.
- Educates and supports the supervisor regarding corrective actions, performance improvement plans, employee warnings, etc.

Completes terminations.
- Assists in having/holds termination conversations with employees.
- Offboards relevant accounts.
- Appeals/Attests unemployment claims when applicable.

Oversees HRIS administration.
- Ensures that organizational structure and configurations are updated in iSolved for direct reports to be visible to their respective supervisors.
- Maintains accurate personnel records including, but not limited to, disciplinary documentation, pre-employment screening results, employment eligibility documents, PHI, etc.
- Participates in building and compiling various reports and metrics.
- Collaborates with iSolved customer support team to troubleshoot when needed.

Supports management team with other various tasks.
- Coordinates company events and acts as liaison between the practice and respective third-party caterers.
- Assists Operations Manager in reviewing patient surveys and following up with patients that noted having a negative experience.

Assists in various payroll functions.
- Adjusts timecards as necessary, in conjunction with employee/manager requests.
- Enters mileage reimbursement earnings as needed.
- Ensures each employee's deductions are correct (benefits, wage garnishments, scrub stipend reconciliation, etc.).
