Receptionist/Switchboard Operator Overview:
Retina Northwest's Receptionist/Switchboard Operator is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to the proper person/department, and confidentially processing incoming encrypted medical records function at our admin building. The Receptionist/Switchboard Operator arrives to work punctually in order to begin receiving and routing calls at 8:00 am, communicates in a friendly and professional tone to patients and Retina Northwest staff, and maintains strict patient confidentiality. The Receptionist/Switchboard Operator acts as the first point of contact at Retina Northwest's admin building, interacting with patients and assisting schedulers consistently. The Receptionist/Switchboard Operator may need to support administrative and clinical staff by traveling to one or more of the satellite clinics located in Oregon and Washington for a verity of reasons.
