The HR Director collaborates with top executives to align HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a culture of engagement, innovation, and performance excellence. This position could work out of either the Cincinnati/Blue Ash office or our Dayton/Miamisburg office.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the executive team to develop and execute HR strategies that support the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term goals.
- Lead the HR department in workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, and retention initiatives to support current and future business needs.
- Design, implement, and oversee HR policies, programs, and best practices related to:
- Compensation, benefits, and leave administration
- Performance management, leadership development, and career progression
- Employee engagement, recognition, and workplace culture
- Training, professional development, and organizational learning
- Workplace safety, compliance, and risk management
- Conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and proactively adjust policies to align with legal and regulatory changes.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure HR effectiveness and align strategies with market competitiveness.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive compensation, benefits, and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Lead change management initiatives to enhance organizational agility and drive continuous improvement in HR operations.
- Develop and manage the HR department’s budget, optimizing resources to maximize impact.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and innovation within HR and across the organization.
- Represent the organization at professional networking events, industry conferences, and leadership forums.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of five years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Experience in organizational development, change management, and strategic planning.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other relevant HR certification preferred.
