What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Maintenance Engineer position at Retreat Hotels and Resorts?
Our brand new TownePlace Suites & Fairfield Inn Dual-Brand is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented Chief maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience. You'll work closely with the General Manager and will be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs to keep hotel operations running smoothly and safely at all times. You'll also oversee the maintenance department, including hiring, training, and leading a team of maintenance technicians to support the property. Slated to open late summer 2025, this full-service property on the on the Georgia National Fairgrounds features a pool, a small outdoor venue for entertainment, a full-service bar and restaurant (featuring the only liqueur license on the National Fairgrounds), and an enclosed, air-conditioned Hall-of-Fame walkway between the hotel and Fairgrounds convention center.
